It’s been a bit of a mad week all in all, starting off right at the top of the country in Skye and finishing, 5 weddings later (and with a rather achey back), in the heart of London at the Mandarin Oriental…what an amazing week!!

5 couples, all with really different weddings and different stories of how they met, but all totally in love and wanting to say to each other and the world that they are the one for each other…they are the one that will be there for each other for the ups and downs…it’s good for the soul to hear this; I really do love my job.

I’m a bit rubbish at taking pictures on my travels, and I mean to take more to get a record of the things I’ve seen and places I’ve been, but we did (we being myself and Beccy from RebeccaGoddardPhotography…my right hand woman:)) manage to get some snaps of our first wedding in Portree, Skye. I can’t really start to describe the impact this wedding and place had on us…it was completely magical. Everything from the gorgeous couple Sarah Anne and Jamie, their equally gorgeous families, the beautiful weather, the not too bad photographer (Marianne Taylor !), the incredible setting…it all added up to be one amazing wedding. There was such a buzz on the island when we arrived, that so many people had all come back “home” for this wedding. In true Scot style, they knew how to party too…5am I think we got back home!

We loved every second and think there’s a little bit of our souls and hearts left somewhere on that little island. I can’t wait to go back…
