This wedding is a very special one. It made me cry for several reasons, mainly being, they were just so gorgeous and in love! But, especially when their bridesmaids came and sang a little song for them during the ceremony, and when the whole church joined in…..that was one of those moments when you were witnessing a very pure, un-staged moment of unison and emotion….I cried.

Claire and Tom got married just outside Taunton, Somerset, in the little village church at Ringmoor. They had their reception at Tom’s Mum’s house, Roughmoor Farm, Taunton, which is where Claire (who had travelled over from Australia to work on an Organic farm) met Tom, whilst shovelling manure on the Orchard.

Tom’s Mum cooked all the food for the reception (and delicious it was too!), the flowers for the tables were picked from the garden and all the tiny details were made from bits and pieces around the farm. Alice, Tom’s sister, made all the wedding stationary (Alice Brazier), their friend Mawgan Lewis was their photographer and in the evening they danced outside to their Klezmer band by the light of the bonfire……magic!
