So, Emily and Marcus…friends of a family we have already filmed in the Henley area, and equally as lovely and welcoming. Emily, her sisters and family are some of the sweetest people I’ve met. When we arrived, the first thing Emily’s Mum did was feed us lunch, and the day kind of continued from there on…it was a great day!  Emily, I’m sure she won’t mind me saying, was sporting the most beautiful little baby bump, it made me feel quite emotional seeing how calm and graceful she looked. Marcus is a Captain in the Royal Regiment of Rifles, and he and his colleagues wore full uniform…it looked amazing!  There was also a moment in the Church, which the Vicar noted too, about how the couple have stood at the same spot as thousands of other couples have, over hundreds of years, in St Mary’s Church to get married, and I could so easily imagine how many other soldiers and army men have done the same thing as Marcus…marrying the girl they love, sword at their side….so romantic!

Their reception was held in a huge marquee in the grounds of Stonor Park, just outside Henley, on a really warm and sunny May Saturday. Their photographer was the lovely Mel from OneLife Studio and the band in the evening were The Secret Show Band, who we’ve seen a couple of times now and are always fab! We loved filming you and your family, and we wish you so much luck with your new and growing family, thanks for letting us be a part of it. x
